Sansovino — Sansovino frames are named after 16th century Italian Renaissance sculptor and architect Jacopo d’Antonio Sansovino. Late 16th to early 17th century Sansovino frames were hand crafted with an early-baroque style that used sculptural mannerist gilt or polychrome frames with interlocking scrolls and volutes.
