Carrig-Rohane — An early 20th-century American frame shop founded in Massachusetts by artists and framemakers Hermann Dudley Murphy and Charles Prendergast, later joined by talented wood carver Walfred Thulin. The shop created hand-carved frames in the old-world tradition, which were typically signed and dated on the verso.
